'MIMIC' Quiz Buzzer System is a complete system for 8 constentant. The system comprises of 8 hand held units for contestant (the person taking part in the quiz) and one unit for the anchor (the person who asks the question) . The 'Contestant unit' is having a red push button and one bicolour lamp in the front side. The 'Anchor unit' is having only one push button.
One main 'control unit' is having a sounder ( hooter or buzzer), a connector for 230 mains connection, 8 sockets for 'contestant unit', connector & one socket for 'anchor unit' to 'main unit' is to be connected by plug in sockets. Mains cable from mains to control unit to be connected.
To start the system, the mains supply to be made on after all connections are connected as per drawing. After mains supply is on, the lamps on 'contestant units' will glow 'RED'. Now, the system is ready to use. When anchor asks the question, the 'contestant who answers first, will press the 'RED' push button. As soon as the button is pressed, the lamp on unit will glow 'Green'. By changing of color from Red to Green the anchor knows who has pressed the button first.
After pressing the button by any one contestant the balance 'contestant units' are deactivated, That means there is no effect of pressing the push buttons of their contestant units. Now the system is locked. When anchor is ready for next question he will press green push button in front of him. This will reset the system. All lamps glow red. Again next question is asked & process repeats.
